Advanex Europe Limited recognises that the key to successful health & safety management requires an effective policy, organisation, and
arrangements, which reflect the commitment of senior management to the health, safety and welfare of all its employees. The company are
committed to preventing personal injury and/or damage to company property and to protect all personnel from foreseeable risks and
hazards, including members of the public insofar as they come into contact with the company.
In accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its subordinate regulations, rules, orders and officially approved Codes of
Practice, the company will provide a healthy and safe working environment for all employees, customers, suppliers and contractors as far as
reasonably practicable by:
Producing a health and safety policy, organisation and arrangements
Nominating persons responsible for implementing and monitoring the policy.
Ensuring a systematic approach to identifying hazards, assessing the risk, determining suitable and sufficient control measures and
informing employees of the correct procedure.
Providing so far as is reasonably practicable, safe places and systems of work, safe plant and machinery, safe handling of materials and
substances, the provision of adequate safety equipment and ensure that appropriate information, instruction, training and supervision is
given.
Formalising the Health and Safety function and ensuring that systems of work, safety equipment, facilities and resources will be available to
enable administration and control.
Endeavouring to provide a working environment that necessitates minimum usage of personal protective equipment.
Providing safe means of access to and egress from places of work which is under the company’s control.
All employees are aware that they have duties and responsibilities under the Health & Safety Act 1974 to take due care for the health &
safety of themselves and to ensure that they do not endanger other persons by their acts or omissions. They are also informed that they
must co-operate with the company in order for the company to comply with the legal requirements placed upon it and in the implementation
of this policy. Action will be taken against any employee who fails to meet these responsibilities.
To sustain that commitment we will measure, monitor and revise our policies and procedures where necessary to ensure that health & safety
standards are adequate. This policy will be kept under review and formally revised at intervals not exceeding twelve months.
